DC Holiday Detector

The direct current holiday detector uses precision high voltage technology to detect pinholes and flaws in insulated coatings on conductive substrates. Where coatings have to provide an effective safeguard against corrosion, it is essential that any pinholes or flaws that will eventually lead to corrosion are detected at the earliest possible stage.
Supplied in an industrial carrying case with high voltage handle, band brush probe, 10m earth cable and neck strap. Calibration certificate is an optional extra. In addition to the standard brush probe, there are a wide range of other shapes of brush probe available for different profiles.
