Steel shot is normally used in wheel blast machinery and can also be used for peening. It also varies widely in quality.

Every ball of Rapijet SS - Steel Shot we provide has been water quenched so that you can be sure of only the best quality steel shot being used in your blasting or peening process. Alternative forms of cooling, such as air cooling,do not provide the same level of martensite uniformity within the steel shot,hence why they are subject to misshape and fracture more quickly. Water quenched steel shot provides massive savings in the mid to long term over other steel shot on the market.

Available in eleven different standalone sizes, from S070 through to S780, we can also offer bagged mixed shot, so you don’t have to waste time mixing the different shot sizes to achieve your preferred profile.
