Product Code: BA3-87[size] One of the most commonly used abrasives and often confused with chilled iron, the use of a high quality steel grit really does pay dividends in the mid to long term. Every grain of steel grit we provide has been water quenched so you can be sure that only the best quality grit will be used in your blasting machinery.
Alternative forms of cooling, such as air cooling, do not provide the same level of martensite uniformity within the grains, hence why they are subject to fracture more quickly. With typically 25% more lifetime achieved with our Rapijet SG - Steel Grit, than with air cooled grit or chilled iron, why not try it and be prepared to be amazed.
Available in ten different standalone grain sizes from HG010 through to HG120, we can also offer bagged mixed grit, so you don’t have to waste time mixing the different grit sizes to achieve your preferred profile.
