The fine thread on the micro valve provides a greater degree of controlability in comparison to other types of valves.

This valve offers good performance - however our Endurablast Schmidt range of abrasive metering valves provide the ultimate in quality and performance. If your blast pot is being frequently used(daily basis), we would recommend the Micro Valve 3, Thompson Valve II or Thompson Valve II XL providing extended service life and faster through-flow of abrasive.
This 1.1/4" x 1.1/4" Minor PC Grit Metering Valve is designed to monitor abrasive flow to ensure efficiency.
